New Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard

Meh, if it's like to G15 I'm not going to purchase it because I don't really like the feel of it. I really like my SGI keyboard but it doesn't have windows or media keys and that's a deal breaker. I really like that Gigabyte but I can't find it anywhere.

I'd like to see a new G19 with the US audio features of this keyboard enabled (G20? G21?). That's really useful stuff.

I agree. After a ton of research, I just ordered the Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless Tactile Touch with Full NKRO... type all the keys you want at once, it will hear you! Uses Cherry Brown MX keyswitches, tactile but non clicky.

I love my G15v2 and like this, but will miss the LCD on the G15v2. The G19 is WAY too expensive compared to the G15 so that means I won't be upgrading to that or this, oh well. Logitech priced their high end keyboard way out of reach for prior G-series owners, and then took away the one feature of that keyboard when trying to bring it down in price.. I would have liked to see the old style screen instead of that stupid color crap.

It looks pretty good and the price is decent. I might have to end up ordering one to get some backlit keys. my Microsoft curve is no good for night time gaming...

Good choice. I went with the Linear (Cherry Blacks). Kind of wondering how the Browns would have been for FPS especially.

Got my G110 today from Amazon. Pretty much the G19 except no LCD panel.

Do you like the feel of yours?

I like it so far, will take a little adjusting from the old, but hats ok. One thing, the wrist rest seems like a bit of an afterthought, doesn't really fit correctly

Yea, I like it. It's very similar to the G15 v2. Some of the larger keys are a bit loud. I like quiet keys. I just popped them off and add some Petroleum Jelly to the metal supports and it quiets them down. I cannot get the volume or multimedia keys to work properly. Anyone else had this happen?

I wanted to get Blacks for gaming/night typing and Blues for typing typing, but I decided I don't want to keep switching my keyboard around my desk, so I went with the Browns.

Browns are near linear with a slight tactile bump (gamers like linear, typists like tactile switches), while the Blues offer too much tactile feel for gaming, and the Blacks suck at typing. So in theory the Browns are good for both tasks, unlike the other two (so I gathered from lots of reading), Only thing I read about the Browns is that they are very light keyswitches, the lightest of all three, so you can't rest your paws as easy as on the Blacks, or you might get a button pressed. ok, i just installed my G110 keyboard are here are my initial thoughts

- the regular keys sit a bit lower than usual keyboard

the G keys and F keys sit at a normal height and the rest of the keys sit a bit lower, and the keys themselves are a bit smaller than on any other keyboard i've used
- i love that it can turn my regular headset with 3.5mm jacks into a USB device
- the lights could be a bit brighter, they seem very dim compared to my bright saitek lights, only 2 settings for brightness, on or off
- these keys are a bit quiet at the moment but i assume that's because they're new
- first time i've ever used a wrist rest on a keyboard as well, don't know if i'll keep using it though

just noticed instead of the usual num lock, caps lock, scroll lock light order
they go caps lock, scroll lock, num lock from left to right

I think they did it like that so we can tell the difference in keys with out looking at them.
Shorter keys equals less travel and faster response, seen any difference?

I haven't really, but I assume that's because I use a key with similar low profile keys at work, but it does feel kind of nice

Anyone had issue with the multimedia keys and volume?

i haven't tested the media keys yet, but i've had no problems with the mute and volume knob in win 7 x64
