It served me well, I've just upgraded to a 16bay 3u hotswap setup. The Fan has been replaced. Caddy drive screws are in the plastic box.

bump. New to this type of set up. Does it require all drives to be the same size?
EX:4 500Gb drives or could I have 1 1.5Tb drive and 3 1Tb drives .
 
It is just a hotswap bay for sata drives. There is 4 sata ports on the back to connect to your controller sata ports. Each drive shows up individually. Size of the each drives is irrelevant.
