I am putting up for sale a couple of laptops. I am not looking for other hardware or laptops, or trades of any sort. Just verified PayPal.

I've done business on here before with good luck, and would love to avoid fleaBay's outrageous commission. I'm in the market for a new car, and having a hard time getting together a reasonable down payment, so I am selling off my portable machines which get very little use. They are my babies but I just would much rather have a shiny new Mustang at this point.

The first machine is an Alienware m17x R3. It is the nebula red edition, and has all the box/documentation that came with it brand new. The only thing you won't be getting is the hat because I wore it a few times, and have no idea where I left it.

$1400 Shipped/Insured to anywhere in lower 48-states.

($1,974.00 price as configured @ Alienware.com)

1920x1080 17" display
Intel Core i7 2670QM
4gb DDR3
8x Slot-load DVD
ATI 6990m 2gb
500gb 7200rpm HDD
Also has installed:
240gb Mushkin Calliso Deluxe SSD (SATA II but it has 25nm chips so it's real-world is still awesome) as the boot drive.

I can include the SSD for an extra $150 or I would also be willing to part it out for $200.

It's a freaking monster gaming rig for how portable it is. It was shipped new last November, and had the 6990m installed by a Dell certified tech in December.

The only thing to note about this system is that it's warranty is non-existent. I had a system replacement done on a 5-year SKU that I had complete care on, and after wrestling over the specifics, I ended up getting this new-to-order system under the condition that it would not be offered any warranty beyond 90-days due to the original system not qualifying for any warranty extensions.

You are really getting a basically like new system here. Thin sheen of dust included at no extra charge :D

And next up is my other "workhorse" laptop. This one has been used a little more, and as such isn't being sold in a "like new" state. This one is more "lightly used".

Apple MacBook Pro 13" - mid-2010 (April) revision
$700 Shipped/Insured to anywhere in lower 48-states.

2.4 core2duo
4gb DDR3
Nvidia GeForce 320m
250gb HDD
13" LED screen
slot load DVD burner/superdrive

This one is the aluminum unibody style and it's in very nice condition. The bottom has a little wear, as will basically every macbook of this age, and there is very small imperfections here and there. Overall it's about an 9/10 cosmetically.

I have not purchased Lion, so it comes with the Snow Leopard install disc only. Honestly, I prefer Snow Leopard for this laptop to preserve the Front Row functionality. I have used this as a make-shift HTPC in combination with a mini display port to HDMI adapter that will be included. Also I will throw in a copy of iWorks productivity suite.

Pictures and more information to follow. I just wanted to get this thread up for an initial interest check.

Ah, and some selling credentials (however ancient they may be)
