How can I permanently eliminate an item from Chrome autocomplete?

This is absolutely infuriating. I need to get to the Volume Licensing Service Center on a regular basis, and ONE bloody time I accidentally add a ".com" now I'm forever cursed with this shitty autocomplete and I get taken to Virginia Lab Supply Company... :mad::mad::mad:

I've done some googling, one of the fixes I have attempted was to edit this hidden file using a hex editor. This did not help. The URL autocompletes both at home and at work now because of the cross-browser sync feature.
