Yeah, unfortunately my X58 is sata 2 and I won't even be able to fully utilize the single drive speed, but it will have to due until IB gets here.

How was the deal last week [H] at $159.99 and this one isn't?

I'm using this drive in my Asus G73JH and so far so good! Just make sure to update the firmware; when I got mine last September, it would cause occasional freezes for 30-60 seconds when in windows. Now I have no problems.
