lol I love predator. nothing will beat the original, but the concept of the "predator" alien itself is fantastic. hunting humans for sport is always a recipe for a good movie. having a belt made of skulls is also a win-win concept.

One, well, two other things i like about this movie.

Rodriguez is producer and Antal is director. With those two involved, it would have to try pretty hard just to suck.

If you like foreign/noir type films... check out "Kontroll", on Netflix Play Instantly as well, Hungarian with subtitles. That was Antal's first film and is still among my most favs. This guy is great at setting moods and tension, which, arguably, accounts for more than half the first Predator film itself.

Looks like a rehash of the original,a bunch of tough guys go into the jungle and get picked off one by one. I was hoping for something new. Maybe a future setting,where humans have advanced enough technologically that the Predators have to deal with the idea that they're more than just prey.
