I don't get it. How do we even know that's a GF100 benchmark?

the number looks alright to me, doesn't necessary look nice when it seems to perform just a bit better than 5870 in terms of fps when Far Cry 2 is nVidia flavor...

I heard nVidia got pretty angry when these videos leaked.

Marketing always gets angry when information doesn't circulate through the exact channels that they specify and in the exact way that they want the information to be distributed.

Of course nVidia is angry. If the leak was unintentional, they must be angry about the leak. If the leak was intentional, they have to say that they are angry about the leak to lend credibility to the leaked information. If the videos were faked instead of leaked, they would be angry about somebody faking the video. If nVidia faked and then leaked the videos, they still have to put up an appearance.
Regardless of what really happened, they will tell you that they are angry.

Angry or not NV can use some good publicity right now and IMO this is one of them. I wonder what the Caustic guys are thinking right now.

Hair and raytracing demos are impressive. Current games can't really be expected to take full advantage of the hardware in the way it was intended. I wonder if this hardware will necessitate an expansion of the TWIMTBP program in order to see significant gains on the 5xxx's.

expected accoridn got who? Charlie? That man will be eating massive crow for his "performance" predictions concerning Fermi when it launches. And teh card in the video was the GTX360 with 448SPs.

The lower end version of this card better be 180W or less.

They could always lower the 2D clocks to enough so it's not stable in 2D...

To compete with ATI 58xx / 57xx.

If your looking for that, go ahead and buy a 58xx card then. Fermi is going to be 225W+ power draw 448 and 512SP versions. And the 448SP is already showing to be faster than the 5870 so I can't wait to see what the 512SP part does specially concidering it supposed to have higher clock than the 448SP part.
