No I just had Qam tuners. I tried it again now and it worked. Media Center may have been downloading the guide data so it wouldn't download the listings at the same time.

wow my Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H with latest Catylst Drivers failed the video portion of the Cable Advisor. Bummer! Hope it is a driver issue.....

I just hope this means prices on the older ATI tuners drop a little. $150 or less for one would be awesome.

I wonder if it has to do with the way ATI loops the HDMI audio. I am unsure.

I has more to do with the drivers for them being, pretty much, beta drivers.

Question: If I have a STB with a Cable Card already in it, could I just take it out of the STB and install it into a CC Tuner in my PC... Or do I need to get a new one from my cable company.

The STB has 2 screws that release the cable card. Seems simple enough.

so how many CableCARD tuners are available now. all i could really find was the 250 ATI one. do they have/are developing a PCI (non pci-e 1x) or a PCI-E 16x card. Thanks!
