Finally (a year later) got around to building my dual-Opteron box with my 8346HEs:







The one on the left is the new opty box, the one on the right is my fileserver. Opteron box is running Gentoo, the fileserver's running Ubuntu LTS. It's nothing special, but 8 cores for about $500 is nothing to sneeze at.
