Well, I should have done the easiest thing first. After switching out cables, and trying different combinations of drives, I reset the bios to defaults (even though I hadn't changed anything from default), and it worked. Strange.
I upgraded the bios in my motherboard to P21, and all of a sudden my drives are acting weird.
If I set "ATA/IDE Cpnfiguration for "Enhanced" mode in the bios, the cd burner on my Secondary master channel is detected, but the two hard drives in my Primary channel aren't.

air flow's fine, 2x 92mm panaflos up front, 1x 120mm in back plus the psu fan.
I moved one of the panaflos to blow directly at the card, didn't help at all.
I tried flashing my motherboard bios, in case it wasn't the latest, didn't help. While I was setting up my options after the flash...
Stock clock speeds (I don't want to void my warranty), and the driver is 81.98.
I think it may be a temperature issue, but temperature monitoring isn't enabled on my card so I can't check.
I seem to be having problems with my new 6600gt card. It's artifacting quite a bit when running 3dmark06. I had it RMA'd because of artifacting in the bios screens prior to booting, they fixed that....... I reinstalled the newest nvidia driver, my old card was a 5200 pci card.
