So "full bandwidth" is 2560 x 1600 and the longer 3m< passive cables work for lesser resolutions?
Looks like I'm going with one 3m DP and my old 2m DVI. Should be enough since the case is closer to one of the monitors... and don't have much other choice portwise.
Thx for the help!
That's one of the questions. For the resolution and refresh rate it doesn't matter. Guess I'm looking for an excuse to not buy old tech like DVI.
I'm also under the impression that DP-DP cables are slimmer and bend more easily. Is this the case? Wouldn't mind that.
I have two 290s in Crossfire, each have DVI, DVI, DP, HDMI. I'm running through the DVIs currently but I need longer cables so I thought I could go with DP cables. Monitors have DVI and DP inputs. (1200*1600 @60Hz)
If I use DP for one of the monitors, what for the second? I'm assuming you...
Too bad they continued with the same design as the U2412M (as others in the series) but had to increase the bezel thickness. It's like making ugly uglier. How big a power save are we talking about here? If the old model can be had for significantly cheaper I'd probably go for that.
I'm guessing it will be cheaper than what the 3011 was new with the AH-IPS panel. If that's the case it should be a lot cheaper or have better features for me to choose it over the much better looking 3011.
Nvidia's Titan to be named "Geforce Titan" or "Geforce GTX Titan"

Clearly fake. Why would you cover up the name unless it wasn't a "titan" or they didn't know what it's name is going to be so they couldn't 'shop in another model.
From OCN:
Looks like it said 690.
"First half of '13". Let's wait for Cebit in March, if no news probably Computex in June. It's always later than sooner but with AMD's results lately you'd think they put something out ASAP.
Very [H]. Doing it right.
The monitor height seems pretty high to me. Is it? I'd like to test raising mine to place speakers under but I'd have to build something to raise them any higher or buy new stands. I can understand adding stuff under your monitors if they're not adjustable but I see...
So spoilers apparently work if you manually type the code. spoiler=tags , /spoiler with brackets ofc.
But then you'd have to back track and go find which rig the poster is talking about.
I'm guessing those prices were in Germany. From the translated original article I can't see any mentions that the price cut came from NV, could've been retailer's choice to drop.
I can see Pixmania.be is selling for 459 + shipping. Don't know if it calculates with local VAT and such (Fin). I...
The FTW one. Does the PCB layout contribute to better OCs in any way or do most 670s OC about the same depending on chip lottery?
So when were talking about "reference" does that mean the PCB layout only? Do they add their own cooling solutions? Not talking about the ones with several fans but...
Speaking of EVGA 670. I'm looking at prices: what's the reason you bought EVGA? I could get the cheapest reference card, PNY for 80€ less than EVGA, any reason not to?
I doubt not seeing the actual warranty details until purchase will pass EU law, if they offer lifetime warranty here.
Not with companies who actually care about keeping their customers. For example, you can send in any beat up old Leathermann tool and they will replace it with a current...
I have some Adata 4GB DDR2 800+MHz (PC-6400), Extreme Edition RAM THIS. CL4 I think, 2x2GB, for my old P45/Q9550 rig. I'm looking to buy some 2nd hand RAM because buying DDR2 new is ridiculously expensive.
What needs to match if I pair with old sticks? I'm looking for at least 8GB, will buy...
It doesn't matter what I have, only that I need an upgrade. Current is HD6950 2GB. I've been considering the gtx670, maybe two if I end up getting a 120Hz monitor (maybe for BF4). One option is to buy one now and maybe a 2nd if I need and prices have dropped.
I wouldn't bet that there will be...
So with the same architecture, would I be better off upgrading to a 600 series now and maybe again for 800 series, instead of waiting ½ year for 700 series? Alternatively waiting for 600 series price drop when 700 is out.
I'd like to know how capable a single 670 or 680 would be with a 120Hz monitor. Most reviewers only care how much detail they can run with keeping it playable above 60Hz and on single player which no one plays.
I prefer playability/smoothness over looks when it comes to FPS gaming. I'm...
