In addition to the command-line prompt (cmd.exe) you can modify the "6 by 10 grid.bat" file using Notepad. Just change those two numbers inside, then run the bat file. For 75 Hz testing (to make sure it's not 60 Hz) I would use 5 by 1 grid, and for 85 Hz I would use 17 by 1 grid.

If you're comfortable with changing the code and compiling, you can do this. First disable vsync. To do that, change glfwSwapInterval(1) to glfwSwapInterval(0). Then, you will probably get over 1000 FPS depending on your setup. You'll want to lower it, so add a sleep for 1/90th of a second...

By default, it runs with vsync on, so it will run at 120 FPS if your monitor is running at 120 Hz. If you make the app run at 90 fps on a display running at 60 hz, you will definitely see a lot of image tearing, and there will be artifacts because of the FPS and refresh rate mismatch.

This is what I would do. My entertainment needs are low. Netflix and occassional iTunes movies is enough for me. It's $8 a month. Cable TV here is like $75 for some crappy standard package.

This doesn't work as well as I expected it to, because the laptop I use gets pretty warm under heavy load, and it's not comfortable to use its keyboard for 8 hours a day. So I end up using external keyboard just cuz of that.

Well, screw waiting a month for capacitors to arrive. I took an old power supply and salvaged 3x 10V 2200uF capacitors (should be equivalent to the original 2x 10V 3300uF ones, since they're in parallel) from there, soldered them into the L246 power supply and voila! It turns on perfectly and...
