I pulled out a few keycaps on the G910+ and the structure is completely different than a MX keycap.

I tried the G910+ at BB and I didn't like it. The keys felt slightly sticky and lack the crispness of MX key actions. It's really a shame because it offers features that other keyboards don't.

You make a good point about not buying monitors from eBay. Getting a monitor from a reputable dealer these days is already kind of a lottery as far as the backlight bleed, uniformity, and stuck/dead pixels that you might get. At least dealers such as Newegg have a good return policy.
