The pattern on the walls is created by the lampshade, I don't have any pictures of it but imagine a ball of oversized paperclips that have been bent out of shape - it's something close to that.
The blades only run when I need them - I have a switched PDU so I can turn them on and off...

I recently got this iPad dock. Makes a big difference.
Not much point showing my mac setup, I'd just be taking a picture of my lap with a macbook on it...
Given the low outside temperatures you could just pipe in air from outside - that could save a lot of money in terms of air conditioning.
This assumes you are in an area where the outside temperature is reasonably low all year round.
