i can't say about the rest but even the BenQ has issues of its own. I just bought one for work and even for simple windows and word processing applications it seems a bit slower than what i'd expect from a monitor of this caliber. I haven't tried gaming on it yet but I don't expect it to get any...
Ok so I ended up getting a new one from the local frys and luckily no dead pixels but when I open up any grey screen it see bands of green red and blue kind of like color block... Strangely when I move the grey screen around the bands move with the screen...
I'm looking into upgrading the monitor I use in the office and I keep coming back to this one and the Sammy S32850T. I'm not looking to play games mainly just office tasks etc on a larger monitor. Is the current price point of this monitor worth it at $599? The flicker problem in every video...
Hes one of those card that don't need to have taunt and will generally be picked to die before anyone even thinks about going face. Unless facehuntard of course.
During closed beta it was really smooth and everything ran great. I think recently with the new patches rolling out and them gearing up for release Blizz updated artwork, menus and frame designs it is causing a lot of the lagging and other errors. Like currently I don't have access to my mounts...
I agree I like the idea of them but actually seeing one and using one in person the curve really isn't even noticeable unless your running 3 of them and they more smoothly curves around you for surround gaming.
I was running 1080 on a older monitor prior to jumping to a U2515 and had a very similar system to yours. I was running a 670 on a 2600k, because of the jump i had to lower settings down to medium or so and no longer was able to do high on almost everything.I ended up upgrading the entire system...
I've been considering a monitor upgrade recently... This seems like a good choice to put next to the U2715H, been using my u2412ms for about 3 years now
