    LG L246W

I have an NVidia 9600GT card and connected my LG via HDMI, and still it was not centered properly. I did that inf edit thing but I see that you have a different card. Uh, I think maybe you were intending to say "trying VGA as a last ditch" ? So, I think if all else fails you should upgrade...

    LG L246W

I tried PC mode for PS3 and it actually just shifts the image over to the left... not sure if it shrunk it down to 1:1 pixel mapping (aside from shifting it to the left, thus giving you a big black bar on the right side).

    LG L246W

So guys I have a new problem... I noticed that if I connect a PS3 or Sony Blu Ray player to this monitor via HDMI, you can ge 1080p, but it is OVERSCANNED!!! I noticed this because I tested out The Nightmare Before Christmas Blu Ray on a Samsung HDTV and there were black bars on the sides...

    LG L246W

Jordan1, your problem could have been fixed by doing that registry edit (I think; I've never tried it) or by editing a certain file in the folder that the the NVidia drivers extract to before installing them. Anyway I'm glad you switched to ATI and got your monitor working, because when I...

    Bad LCD experiences

Using an LG L246WP right now. Actually mine is called L246WP-BN. No image persistence at all.

I need a 1680x1050 monitor that will show Xbox 360 and PS3 at correct aspect ratio =/

Okay, my final purchase, I think, is an LG Flatron 246WP-BN. 24 inches, 1920x1200 (but I can play games at 1680x1050 at 1:1 pixel mapping and it looks great and is not too small at all), P-MVA, no noticeable input lag (it's on average 22 ms I believe), 8 ms, scales everything I need accurately...

    lcds with functioning 1:1 mapping

cross post... good monitor, i believe: Okay, my final purchase, I think, is an LG Flatron 246WP-BN. 24 inches, 1920x1200 (but I can play games at 1680x1050 at 1:1 pixel mapping and it looks great and is not too small at all), P-MVA, no noticeable input lag (it's on average 22 ms I believe), 8...

    Viewsonic's new Led Lcd monitor

This happens to me and everyone, I think... Hey, whatever you get, just look if they still sell glare guards that will fit your LCD monitor. Remember those? They're like these big glass panes that are like sunglasses that you put over your monitor to reduce glare. It dims the overall picture...

    DoubleSight DS-263N - 26"

Well for sure you know that the Doublesight has low input lag (this is different from response time), but it also has a gamut that is not 100% accurate with things that don't let you calibrate the colors. The HDTV will probably not have such a color inaccuracy problem, but you'll have to check...

    2007WFP Vs. 2407WFP for Xbox 360 & Web Surfing

Audio, eh? Hopefully your 360 has an option to output audio via those red and white plugs that are on your Xbox 360 AV cable. So basically you'd be using HDMI for the video, and the red and white plugs for sound (you plug it into a receiver or into the receiver for your computer speakers, if you...

I need a 1680x1050 monitor that will show Xbox 360 and PS3 at correct aspect ratio =/

Wait, so does the 2007WFP have an Aspect option and does it work properly for 720P 16:9 stuff?

    Dell 20 inch panels

Really? So you don't get an inverse/black-looking ghost for things in motion?

Best 23-24" sRGB IPS Monitor (nec 2490wuxi, Hazro hz23w hz24w, apple cinema hd 23")

Wow, that Hazro HZ23W seems rather slick. How is the input lag on it? The input lag seems to differ between models... so I'd like to hope that the input lag is better than the 24 inch version...

19" widescreen with good color accuracy?

You can get a used Apple Cinema Display 20 inches or something on ebay for a decent price. Those use IPS panels... contrast ratio is 700:1 which may be a bit low, but IPS panels tend to have lesser contrast ratios than other panels. Also, the Dell 2005WFP I believe is an IPS panel and has no...
