Would you ever go back to LCD after experiencing OLED?

My IPS also looks awful compared to my modern mini-led. Honestly if you think you'll stress about burn in ever so slightly just go for the mini-led. I've got both and like others have said they just trade blows.

Would you ever go back to LCD after experiencing OLED?

That's 250 days of 8 hour usage, hardly an accomplishment. I got a top of the line LCD monitor from 2008 that is still going strong as my secondary. When you own an OLED you know it's on borrowed time which is a feeling hard to shake of.

Would you ever go back to LCD after experiencing OLED?

Yes absolutely. Got a Samsung mini led as a monitor and QD Oled TV and they trade blows regarding image quality. Add to that no burn in worries and the mini led wins as my choice for a monitor. LG Oleds are out of the question since they are way too dim with no colour volume. LCD technology...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I had the best experience with Gigabyte RMA they had the monitor repaired with a new panel and back to me in 48 hours. I jumped the gun though and already replaced it so anyone wants to buy an FV43U in the UK

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

The monitor powers on detects input as the light turns white, panel turns on but no picture just a dark grey screen no OSD either. Tried different cables and computers so its definitely the monitor.

Easy: 43QN90C. I'm up for a repair job but no idea where to start.

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Mine was going strong for 2.5 years and last night I turned on my PC and no picture. Looking around it is quite common so I would sell yours while you still can.

Same thing just happened to my FV43U. No picture not even OSD 😢 I've contacted Gigabyte.

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

That was a great response thank you. However, the same thing is happening at an OLED panel I now have only slightly reduced. I'm so perplexed that this is not discussed more as at anything above ~100HZ the pixel stutter/smearing appears no matter the panel significantly taking away from the...

    Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57" 7680x2160 super ultrawide (mini-LED)

If HDR is completely broken as you claim then how can you give this monitor 5 stars? This is 1 star unusable garbage monitor if proper HDR makes the image worse. I know you are excited about 2160p but many of us have been on that resolution for a decade now.

    Why OLED for PC use?

Hey it got 4 zones so technically...

    Why OLED for PC use?

Oled fanboys have been invading and derailing display discussions for the past 5 years+ so I'm quite enjoying the payback that kramnelis is dishing. And to be honest I understand where he is coming from. I wouldn't want to give away a single nit of my Aorus FV43U.

    Why OLED for PC use?

I'm an AORUS FV43U and I love how bright it gets. I can game in the summer with the sun coming in through my window and still have a great experience due to high bright this monitor can get. I understand the FV43U leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to pixel response and dark scenes. How...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

It happens in all games but in some is way more apparent. It's hard to notice on games with cartoony graphics for example. Like I mentioned it becomes noticeable at fps above 100 and it's the worst at 144 fps. I thought it could be frame skipping but I did the test and there was no skipping...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I'm just perplexed that there is no mention of it in this thread. Makes me wonder if I have a faulty panel. I'm not talking about motion trail smearing which is to be expected. I'm talking entire objects such as tree trunks flicker out and then back in the correct place as you pan the camera.
