Question about scaling with Nvidia GTX 970. It initially was turned on to Aspect ratio scaling. I turned it off but an am unsure what the difference is. I also read that GPU scaling can add input lag. Also there is a setting for GPU or display setting I am unsure of. Anyone have any recommendations?
I have a Dell U2311H and its anti-glare coating is pretty harsh. Everyone has said the newer ultrasharp monitors are much better. But the older U2311H is not that bad so I cannot imagine this one being worse.
My U2515H got delivered on Sat but I won't be home to play with it until Wednesday...
I just realized that you have double the amount of graphics memory than my model macbook has. That can make a difference compared to mine. Also if you use your macbook as a clamshell and only drive the external monitor it might work out much better. I recommend connecting your macbook to your TV...

I have the same specs on my laptop. when I drive a 1080p monitor it has troubles keeping up in certain situations. Ie watching videos and editing photos
It would be able to but not sure how well your computer would run. I have a 2008 15" with the two graphics cards and when I drive a 1080p monitor my computer gets real slow. I think our macbook's have similar graphics cards. Which one does yours have? I would recommend trying it out on a friends...
I have looked around for a few days now and am unsure what to get. I would like to use the monitor for gaming and photo/video editing. I currently have a Dell U2311H and would like another IPS monitor with a low input lag for gaming. Right now I am looking at the Asus Asus VS248H-P, Dell P2414H...
