Thanks for clarifying that about the liyama (yup, need that for both console and PC use). I guess it's down to either the VW2430H or the XB2783HSU again.
Just read the review. :(
I was expecting high input lag, considering that it's multi-input, but not that high! Sigh. I have tried those Benq, Samsung and Asus monitors already, but had to send them all back for one reason or another. Besides, I have read that the liyama has some weird issue...
Been eyeing the Asus VN289Q since forever and it is now available on Amazon.de. Anyone (NCX?) know anything about it? Response time, input lag?
I'm actually intrigued by the PiP/PbP feature too. All I know is that it's supposedly mounting a Chi-Mei VA 8bit panel and that's about it...
My god so much misinformation in here, my head hurts.
"why you would limit yourself to 1080p?"
Because that's the right thing to do. For him. Did any of you even read what he wrote, or you just recommend the first thing you have in mind?
Why would everyone keep on suggesting a 1440p monitor...
Bravia's HD TVs have horribly high response time and the smearing is very noticeable, unless you pump brightness up a lot...Tried both the W6 and W7 and had to send them back.
I'm considering buying that same monitor, but there's a bunch of things I'm worried about. How's the glow in the corners and the stand seems rather flimsy and wobbly...is that the case?
This. So much this.
And if you want to get an even bigger screen, just look for a TV...Latest Sony's are excellent for playing thanks to their very low input lag.
As I've stated before, I currently do not have this monitor anymore. I'm still on the market for a new screen (I've been for almost two years...) and I'm considering getting a big TV with low input lag and be done with it.
