Hello I recently Sent in my XFX 7800 GTX OC for RMA to you guys ticket reference #297764. You Sent me back a 9600 gt but it is not performing as it should. I asked what could possibly be the bottleneck, you said driver issues I clean sweeped drivers and reinstalled to no avail. I then looked up the Product number(PV-T94P-YDF0) of the card you sent me and the only links I can get are in Chinese and/or Japanese. I then tried to download alternative drivers from omega and this card wasn't supported which struck me as odd. I then was told to run 3dmark06 which I did and got a score of 4297 My score with old gpu was 4913. I was then misunderstood because I put an I without a space accidentally at the end of my 4913 which made it look like a erroneous number. I sent back a correction but the person who retorted had obviously not read it and proceeded to denigrate my judgement. Please help me find a viable solution for this problem thank you for your time and patience.
Put my order in on monday and recieved it on friday. Looks pretty...
Now i just gotta wait 3 weeks to get back home so i can see if it works. Fingers crossed.
Thanks XFX for doing this. You guys are awesome. I own a XFX 8800gt and now a XFX 5850 and will be buying XFX products for the rest of my life just because XFX helped me out like this.
Is the offer for the 5850's still going on (HardOCP exclusive deal or whatever). If it is I would like 2 of them please, please let me know if this is still going on and I will send along the correct information to get them ordered.
