The article states 12GB. Where are you getting 10.5GB from? This could be the best 10.5GB card on the market for a while...

NVIDIA joke flies over NVIDIA advocate's head .The article states 12GB. Where are you getting 10.5GB from?

Even the card that the joke references isn't 3.5GB card, it's a 4GB card. From comedy.
Nothing in the article says anything about reserving 12.5% of the memory as "cache."12gb - 12.5% cache = 10.5gb
nvidia math 101

Calling this anything other than a 12GB card is nonsense.

neither did the 970...

SRSLY? LOL!!!!
Betting it'll drop soon and probably at around $1,499. Make as much money as possible then drop it down to $999 and they'll still sell/make more than AMD with an equal card for $400 less because the market share leadership.
If, when, they release this before the R9-300 Series things are going to get worse for AMD. They just can't get in front of anything at this point. Constantly reacting. It's going to be a monster to deal with @ 50% performance over the 980 and then they'll slice it down so far to compete with AMD it wont matter what they release.
All hail our Intel/Nvidia overlords. Kinda sad seeing the writing on the wall.
Dear lord he kept digging the hole deeper and deeper!
I found out NV fans have no sense of humor and are willing to pay an outrageous sums of money for a 10 fps increase...priceless!
So what is everyone's guesses on price? I think it's safe to assume we are looking at a minimum $1k for this card but some have speculated $1300.
For that price I better get 40% more performance over the GTX 980. Highly unlikely I know.
probably won't go 4k until there's a 120hz 4k panel with G-Sync.
Is the card really long? It looks about as long as a 295x.
it's not even a paper launch, more like a half paper launch!!
Such an awesome card.. Too bad I can't afford one.
No one knows if that's the real card. This was a paper launch/announcement and could be a dummy card as he has done in the past.

As a side note:
No specs other than vram?
No release date?
This just seems like nvidia is trying to take attention away from the 390.
We have this new Titan card with 12gb. The end.
That card he showed is the real deal, hence why he signed it and handed it over to Tim Sweeney to keep. The game demo they showed off was running on Titan X. Jen Hsun specifically said more information will be provided during GTC and that's why he was being coy with the details. But I think most of us who follow this sorta thing closely already have a pretty good idea of what Titan X will be. The 12 GB Vram was not surprising at all since we all knew it would be a 384 bit card. Full Maxwell is going to be a beast of a card, I can't wait to buy it.
Yeah it sucks. Doesn't put NVIDIA in a hard spot at all. Just sit back and watch AMD play catch up.
Where did you see that it has 50% performance increase over the 980?
Its not a card though, it was a thing.
He could have got away with showing almost anything as long as it wasnt alive.
You've won this thread
Where's the [H] review!?!?!
53.8% increase in transistors. Nice.
