Best widescreen 19-20 inch lcd, ~$500

i'm looking for a new moniter, as i currently have a 5 year old pile of shit gateway 17 inch crt, and its on its way out... i've settled with its mediocrity for long enough. i'm looking for basically a widescreen that can do atleast 720P resolution, and of course, bigger is always better. any opions on what i should get would be greatly appreciated. i'd like to get a samsung panel, but they dont seem to have any widescreen PC lcds on the site. i have no problem getting a 2005fpw, but i would like some input first. i understand contrast ratio and response time and all that good stuff.. i just basically dont know where to look to get one. i can get a 4:3 moniter if the specs are worth it, but i'd like to stick 16:9/16:10

1. Samsung makes the panel for Gateway's FPD2185W
2. The 2005fpw does not do anything more than 480i res, no HD for you w/ Dell
3. The Gateway FPD2185 DOES do HD and is HDCP compliant, neither of which the Dell can claim.
4. The FPD2185 is widescreen 21"

that one seems sweet... but its a bit out the price range... so unless i can get some gateway coupons, lol, i think i will have to rule it out for now.

anyone else have any tips.. the gateway is on sale at curcuit city for 533, so i guess i can swing it after all.. but i'd like a few more opinions on the matter if i can get them
