Is there a way to increase the size of a partition after its already been made?

Partition (M|Tr)agic. Back up first if it's important - and if it's not important, delete and recreate.

Get the latest version of Knoppix and use the built in volume tools.

I ran through this process this weekend myself, after adding another disk to my Raid5 array and then increasing the partition size to match the additional space.
Worked like a charm.

Not sure about Knoppix, but Partion Magic normally doesn't support Server OS's, most of the products out there don't unless you get the ussually more expensive enterprise class version.
I've used Boot-IT NG many times even on Server OS's, I used it on Win2k3 last and it worked like a charm.
