I have a Maxtor 300GB SATA, did the fix and it still stuck at 137GB, is there something that I need to change in BIOS?

Go into disk manager - you have to format all that unused space now and make partitions out of them.
Right click 'My Computer' -> Manage.

Can I connect it to my existing drive? I want one partition.

You basically have two options:
1) Use a program like PartitionMagic to do it for you
2) Reformat after making a slipstreamed Windows XP disc (which I'll assume you're running) and make sure to delete all existing partitions (so you can form one continuous one)
You can either follow this guide: http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd.htm
Or, you can use nLite to do it for you: http://www.nliteos.com/nlite.html
If you've already set up a bunch of programs/games and don't want to format, then option 1 is by far the best choice, but you'll have to pay for it.

Third party software such as Partition magic will let you merge or resize partitions. Otherwise, you'd have to reformat with an SP2 slipstreamed XP disc.

third option
from a parallel install create a single partition
is there any particular reason you require a single partition?
your sure an NTFS volume mounted as a folder (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307889&sd=tech) wont do?
