I am proof a little knowledge can be dangerous! :o I have been so happy just to have this computer (BluHaz) up and running that I apparently have “ignored” an obvious issue.

When I boot up the system or restart, it goes directly to loading windows XP Home. No boot screen or anything. Just noticed it as I wanted to go into the bios and can’t.

So what did I screw up this time? (hope this is in the right place!!)

You probably didn't screw anything up, it's just that the monitor takes a while to display an image (it sets the timing mode or something.) If you need to get into the bios, just hit Delete or F2 or whatever button it is a few times after you press the power button. When your monitor finally shows something, you should be in the bios.

The "rabid/rapid" punch the delete key thingy works - thanks :D
