Hello, I'm new to this board, but was told this is where the more mature gamers hang, so here I am looking for a little help...

I recently ordered a 1GB (2x512MB) Dual Channel Optimized Kit of OCZ EL DDR PC-4800 Platinum Elite Edition. I was wondering if anyone here might have any experiance with OC'ing these with a ASUS A8N-SLI (standard) board.

Before the flaming begins, I realize this is NOT the best board to OC with, but it is what I am stuck with at the moment and would like to get the best preformance 'for gaming' out of it that I can.

I also would greatly appreciate any input regarding this specific memory from anyone regardless of the board there are using...I feel I will get a different mobo before I switch ram.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer any assistance.

i can tell you that those sticks use samsung TCCD

basically.. don't go crazy with voltage. if you go over 2.8v, consider a fan ;)
