hey guys,
i just got x-men legends II and i am finding it impossible to play with the keyboard. everything is a chord! i was thinking of buying a gamepad for this game. does anyone have any experience with this game particularly?
i was thinking of getting the logitech rumblepad 2 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002XJBG4/104-7126603-8117503?v=glance&n=172282&n=507846&s=electronics&v=glance) but havent really found anything else that looks suitable.

I have the same gamepad, it works great. However, X-men legends 2 is very gamepad unfriendly. It doesn't let you bind keys in the menus so the various menu buttons are bound all over the place and are difficult to navigate. Also, when moving through menus, it sometimes overshoots the options you want, moving twice instead of once. Sometimes not at all, and sometimes just once like you wanted. And think about how much time you spend in menus assigning points, and equipment and skills in this game. It's a /lot/.

When playing the game it's much nicer, but it comes with disadvantages, I just keep the gamepad in my lap and use the keyboard for the menus and then pick up the controller to continue playing.
