I got the X2VGA set up and when I turn the xbox on (X2VGA is on too), I get a message on my LCD (Fujiplus FP-988D) that something is out of range.
Also, I do not have HD (480p, 720p, or 1080i) activated, or at least to my knowledge. Mainly because I can't find where to activate these 3!!! I go to "Settings" then "Video" and all I get is to change it from 4:3, Widescreen, or letter box.
As you can tell, I need serious help.

Once you have a HD compliant adapter connected in your menu you will get options for your HD settings.
If they arent activated your LCD will not display an interlaced image thus is "out of range".
Selecting "480P enabled" should solve all issues.

No no no.
All you need to do is plug in your using your XVGA to a TV using the Yellow Composite jack it has to select 480P.
Or you might want to try the input to see your dashboard in 480P. I forget what it is, but it might be clicking in both analogs while the dashboard is running.

I have the X2VGA connected and I do not have the option to enable 480p when I go to composite view. Composite View only works when X2VGA is turned off.

It should not matter.
The option for 480P should be there when it is plugged in regardless.
If not plug in your monitor and try the 480P dashboard input.
