works on "the dell" but that only has a ti4600 and when i try to play any game its instant artifact lock, the fan on the ti4600 died and i cant even load a menu in morrowind without artifact

still got the problem, differnt text file every time but always read something similar to this

Have you checked Add/Remove for any anti piracy bullshit which can sometimes interfere with legit installs, also spyware/virus?

Out of curiosity, have you tried installing from the hard-drive? Either by copying + paste into a folder or create an image and use a virtual drive like daemon tools.

yyeah i backed up the first disk with alcohol 120% yesterday and the same shit happens when i mounted to a virtual drive

^^Stuff like that Sony rootkit we've been talking about. Also SecurePlay is another big one.

a standard virus/malware check might help. Also sometimes stuff with real time protection can interfere with things, try disabling any antivirus stuff, making sure you're not running any extraneous process and that sort of thing.

lmao i never played the first, and my cousin gave me this one for the pc(he has G4 mx440 or something bad and just plays on his xbox)
oh and i dont have any spyware, viruse. no pirate prevention things in add remove
