I loaded up Quake 2 on my Voodoo 2 SLI rig and all I can say is oh my god... the game still kicks total ass, way better than Quake 4 IMO. I think I'm going to run through all the mods again, maybe some Coconut Monkey :) Ahhh the memories.

The game just looks so good on those voodoos :D

I suggest everyone load up your old copy of Q2 for some old school fun.

Definately best console FPS ever, owns halo in MP alone. Played it last night for the first time in 7 years? My god feel old. Best game hands down was Doom or Quake.

BAH, nothing beats playing in a 3 man deathmatch on netquake on a p-200 with 64mb of ram with software 320x240 resolution, MANY hours of college time were spent this way. DM2, DM6, DM3. QUAD, 666, invisibility ring, I LOVE IT. 4v4 TDM on DM3 is how TDM started.

One of the best FPS was Duke Nukem 3D. How many FPS games give you humor and death at the same time? I know now that it is so far behind in tech specs but it was fun. I wish they would have made a good upgraded sequal.

i think currently my most favorite game (even though i don't have it or a PS2) has got to be God of War. one of those rare games that i played through without much of any a break. awesome fun though. wish it was ported to PC :(

I got Quake IV and I love it...but before I get too much farther I'm gonna go through and finish Quake 1 and 2 (2 came on the special edition DVD)...I wonder if my GTX can handle QuakeGL....

b) never played Q2
c) came in PC gaming late in the game

I would say COD1 ( so far) When Mohaa was out, I spent alot of time playing that. Right now I am playing BF2 waiting for COD2 to come out.
