My drive crapped out on me and I need a new one quick. Let me know...
Would this be a good drive for gaming?
Is there any tricky crap/annoyance with SATA2 I should know about? (my first SATA2 drive, motherboard supports it)

Yeah this drive will be fine for gaming. I havent run into any problems with sata2 drives, and WD drives are great

If compared to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144200
Which would you say is more worth it for the given price? I'm guessing the first one, not the Raptor? (especially since it's 36gb)

Stay away from the 36gb raptor; it's not any faster than modern 7200rpm drives, and the price is so much higher it's ridiculous.

I just ordered the 74GB one, thought the 37 was a bit of a waste :p
That other WD was out of stock and I always wanted a Raptor. I figure 10,000rpm and a great reputation can't hurt.
