2nd Hdd not showing up?? Seagate Sata! Help please!

Well I had a 36gb raptor and needed more space. So I threw in a 200gb Seagate baracuda.
They both show up in device manager, but in my computer there is no dive letter for the seagate? Any help would be great, thanks :)

Start\Run\Diskmgmt.msc, what do you see?

disk 1 unknown - not initialized-unallocated
It shows the other 2-- Raptor, and dvdrw are fine

You should be able to right click the disk and initialize it, then right click the unallocated space and create a partition. If not, grab the Seagate diagnostics and see if you need to RMA the drive.

Do I want primary or extended partition?

The only reason to create a primary partition is to have more than four volumes on a physical disk. If yo uare going to make one big partition, you want a primary.
