I instaled 2003 server and it worked fine for about 4 days and then stopped responding! (I had tihs problem for a while but had 2000 server installed and thought it was a software problem) So I went downstairs and quickly ocnnected a monitor to the server. I was surprised to find the computer right before the POST SCREEN! It was in the bios and had the "Looking for IDE drives .." or something like that message but when it usually finds the drives it was stuck in that state!

Now when I just press the RESET button it would restard but stlill be stuck when it got to that stage. However, when I pressed the power button waited 5 secs and turned it back on, all was well and it booted fine! This explains why pressing just the reset button before did not help with anything but only turning the power off for 5 secs and then back on did the trick. So now I really need some help. This mobo has everything integrated with 512 megs of ram. Is there any app I can run on it to determine what is causing it to be unstable? I would really appreciate some help, this is really killing me.

I'm not sure why this is in the Operating Systems forum, when it's clearly something hardware related. I would download the hard drive's diag utility and test it out. I'd also try flashing the motherboards BIOS again, and making sure everything is seated correctly.
