Can they be recycled? I have no idea what to do with my old 19" CRT.

Find a big dumpster behind a shopping center and dump it in.

video tape it being dropped from something high, or hit by a car.. then i will host the viedo and we can put it up here...

or find a computer recycling center..

just when you do smash it dont handle the glass directly.... shotguns make a nice implosion....

After dropping it, find out where the nearest landfill is and take the pieces there. ;] The ones here have a separate section for CRTs, batteries, antifreeze, oil, paint, various hazardous stuff. I don't think they charge anything to dump that kind of thing either (they do charge for regular garbage).
