I know a guy here in the office that came to me with a WMP problem. He is a nice guys so I am trying to help him out however I don't use WMP or XP that much.
He seems to have WMP 9 installed and purchased some songs from Walmart.com. When he tries to play the purchased songs, he gets a window that comes up named "Individualization".
The content you are are accessing requires an additional level of security.
In order to play it, you will need to update your digital rights management installation.
Details:
When you click OK, Windows Media Player sends a uniqie identifier for your computer to Microsoft service on the internet.
Click Learn More to learn how Microsoft service protects your license, files, and privacy.
When he clicks OK - it tells him the server is unavailable or not responding however he is on a DSL line that has been confirmed to be working.
Is there anyway to disable this in the Media Player?
