Are there any SACD drives for computers or can a normal DVD-ROM drive be used?

Don't feel bad, I didn't know about it and bought an SACD to use on my 5.1s. Luckily it was a hybrid CD, but still, I was looking forward to the 5.1 mixing.

SACD is a great audio format, but is really hard to find compatibility for.
I think DVDA audio will be successful for this reason.
NIN dual discs anyone?

NIN dualdics == awsome. The newest (With teeth) espcially. You can tell Trent Reznor recorded it for 5.1 first and stereo second.

I ended up buying a dvd player that does sacd/dvda becaues of this. Analogue out -> 6ch input on the receiver. Check out "roger waters- live at the wall" for another wicked sounding surround mix. Close your eyes and its like you're sitting in the front row watching the concert. You can even hear the echo's from the back of where the show was done.
