This might start a war but I'm curious. I heard that Intel mATX boards are much better and OCing doesn't seem to be a problem with the 630s. Waddya think? (The cost difference would be about $30 CDN for the CPU and RAM, however any good AMD board I would have to ship it here and would cost me a fortune :-/ )
Thanks

Ask Dillusion. You are going to pay more for the processor, so I doubt you would be saving anything, even if the 939 board costs more to import. Trade off is gaming performance for workstation performance. Watch out for some crazy fps in MS Word!

Im here :D
Its true that the intel boards do have 'more' OCing options as of right now, such as the AOpen i915GM or the ABIT LG-81/80 but if your building the rig primarily for gaming, than an AMD would be your best bet. My SFF's have been primarily intel's because I do allot of PS8.0 work and web design so i need the intel that can handle 4 illustrating programs at one time.
For a gaming SFF you'de be better off with lets say, a 3500+ and one of those new 6100 mobos, than a 630 and one of the boards mentioned above. If you're going to do 'marginal' gaming (less than 10 hours a week) than by all means grab an intel setup. You can easily get a 630/640 to 3.8-4GHZ in one of those mATX boards with the right RAM.
It pretty much depends on usage and budget...

Usage is mostly gaming.
Cost needs to be kept to a minimum.
So I'm going to be going with the 3200+, 1024 meg pc3200 and the motherboard is still the problem. I would like to go with SFF but my options are very limited on getting a decent motherboard (OCing or not). That's why I was thinking of going with Intel
OCing isn't a big thing for me, I want a fast quiet cheap system.
wait for a DFI tForce board
