Koolance mod from 3x80mm to 2x120mm

Hey has anyone ever tried to take a koolance case and take the three 80mm fans and strap on 2x120mm fans instead, those 80mm fans get really loud. I was thinking about taking off the whole fan controller and inlet that holds the 80mm’s on and sinking them into the case more, I have another fan controller that will deal with the new 120’s

I was just wondering if anyone has had any success doing this.

Im guessing no? I did take out the 3 fans and replace them with blue LED ones that are a bit quieter
