Does anyone have these?

How much higher does it make the case? Does anyone have other case rims (wheels)? How tall are they? Does it make the case unstable?

Mountain Mods sells the exact same thing for half that price. If they are the same size as the Lian Li ones it's 1.5"
I don't think these have locks though.

Yes, now we are talking 1.5" tall. From what I saw after looking around I found these:
http://www.directron.com/wheelb.html
that were 2.25" tall. Would the taller ones be better?

I think shorter ones would be better due to the risk of possibly tipping your rig over.

heh, I purchased one of those 3 draw plastic chests at walmart. I ripped off the wheels and violla--case with wheels.

waiting for spinners.
oh god no...
yeah if your rig is not very long then shorter casters would be a good idea..
I used to have an 5U Enligh case and it had simi tall ones but it was long and heavy enough it wouldn't tip over easily, and could support the case and alot more weight.

Why would anyone buy those? I can go down to fleet farm (a store) tomorrow and get 4 casters that are 1.5" high for about $3 total, if that.

I don't think 3" tall casters would be any worse than 1.5" casters unless you are rolling on uneven floor or thick/high carpet. Also, unless you are buying special (colored or designed or bling bling  ) wheels for your rig get $3 ones from (insert your hardware store here).

The ones from your hardware store will probably be about $3 per wheel, but much more durable because only the wheel will be plastic. Everything else, the bearings, axle, etc will be metal.

Why not get the V-xxxx series wheels? You can get the whole assembly for only $29. http://www.silverpcs.com/product/CA_LIAN_LI_PC-V_WHEL

I was looking for these earlier, but I did not see any stores selling them. I kind of want something different. I think I found something I may like, but I have to see if it's for sale. ;)
Thanks Nurse. I have seen your mods, your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I always really wanted to do a car project, but no freakin time. I now know what I have to do. I will quit my job. It's way too cold here to work on a project anyway. We got like 5 or 6 inches of snow the past few days.
