I have been doing this for ages, but I am thinking about getting WD Raptor, now since they are super expensive, I can't afford TWO to install OS on one and Games on the other HDD. Do you recommend installing game on the same HDD that has OS (c:\)
Your take please.

I don't do it. I leave all my apps, games and OS on one drive, data movies and other crap on the other.

My last system I had windows installed on a drive all by itself and apps and games installed in their own drive/partition. Then some extra storage drives for digital pics, music, what have you. My new system I have 2 raptors in raid 0 and as much as I dont like doing it I have everything installed on this array. My first time with raid or raptors and it was just such a speed boost I cant have myself installing any programs that I would actually run onto different drives. I do still use storage drives for random crap though.
and where is the poll?

I cant imagine you getting a significant increase in speed keeping your OS quarantined. I'd suggest a OS/programs drive and a seperate data/storage drive.
