Hello, I just got 4 SCSI hard drives for doing some computer repair at a small business. I do not know anything about the SCSI standard, and I wanted to get an idea how much these drives would be worth used.

st39173lw Seagate 7200rpm 9.1GB ultra 2 SCSI wide

st336737lw Seagate 7200rpm 36.9GB Ultra 160 Wide

And theres one that is a Dell drive, 9gb 80 pin SCA 7200RPM. Thats all the info I have on that one.

DPSS-336950 IBM ultrastar 7200rpm 36.9GB Ultra160 SCSI

Thanks for the help, sorry I am a newbie when it comes to SCSI!

I checked Ebay but there was little info to go on, and googling didn't give me much.

Nice finds, from about $40 up to $100. Or just use them.

Thank you for going through the trouble! I really appreciate that. As for just using them myself... it would be nice but I don't have a controller card, or rent next month. I guess SCSI will be for another day.

the 36Gb'ers might be worth keeping for secondary storage.
The 9Gb'ers are garbage and going to be slower/hotter than most most ~20Gb IDE drives.

You can pick up an LSI U2W or U160 controller + cable pretty cheaply (>$50) if you look around.
