Available RAM at startup - XP Pro.

Could some users please post the amount of available RAM at startup, users with 1Gb preferably. Not too fussed about what's running at startup, just lookin for an average.

My system is using about 185 MB of memory at startup, once I reach the usable desktop. It's going to be very hard to get any real comparison here, unless you're including ever bit of software and each driver that's loading on startup.

Are you having some specific problem with available memory?

I don't know whether it's a specific problem or not, my available RAM at desktop seems a little low, just wondered what others had. For example, I'm using 250MB, Zonealarm, AVG & Abit monitoring programs are the only major startup tasks running.

Just seemed a little low.
