Can I use a XP-pro key off my old dell?

If I load one of the many great linux varryations on my old 2.2ghz p4 dell (web server) Can I use the XP pro CDkey from the dell on my game server?

My main rig is legit, and I have been meaning to run web server off something other than windows, and my game server now needs a legit copy of windows now that I can keep it up to date... BOOO..ohh well..

Can I? I have the orignal dell install CD and the key is on the sticker on the dell?

The short answer is NO

Dell licenses are OEM and are thus tied to the original machine, they arent transferable

If you want to get REALLY anal about it, OEM licenses are tied to the mobo of the machine it was originally installed on. :)
