Safe Mode (Trouble Getting In)

Well, I'm sure that I am doing something stupid and wrong, but I cant get into safe mode. I have XP Pro and when I hit F8 I get 4 choices, Floppy Drive, my two opticals, or the HDD, no safe mode choices, what am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you aren't waiting long enough. You've got to wait until just after the BIOS lets go but before the windows laoding screen pops up. Try to wait a second later.
