I just assmebled this pc, i installed windows xp and everything went smootly untill windows got to the load screen and the computer restarts continuously. There is a brief flash of a blue screen before it restarts, but it is impossible to read as it goes by so quickly. I am presented with the options of going to safe mode, last good config, normally, yet none of these change what happens. Reinstalling windows does not provide a solution either. Since i was running a raid for the first time i have tried installing it on a single drive but the results are the same. I have also tried other memory sticks to no avail.

The computer is:
Athlon 64 3200
Asus A8N-E
7800gtx
2gigs(1gbx2) OCZ Memory
2x WD Raptor 74gb Raid 0
Antec TP2 480w PSU

For now, leave it as a single drive, to eliminate the RAID problems. On a side note, your performance as a single drive will be the same, so don't buy into the RAID0 hype.

I would first try a hard drive diagnostic tool. Then I'd search through the BIOS and make sure the options are set right...no problems there. Your PSU seems like it's powerful enough, so maybe it's a heat issue?

always check bios, disconnect unneccesary devices that may have any sort of newtorking (like bluetooth) as well.

I have had sound cards, NICS and usb bluetooth devices do this

I'm thinking it's either a bad RAID controller, or the wrong drivers (or corrupt driver files). Your not missing anything by not running RAID0, so you're all set.
