Are 3.5" drives PC drives and 2.5" drives laptop drives? I'm not sure if this is correct or not?

I want to get a hard drive enclosure for a hard drive inside my PC, but I think it is a 3.5" drive? I'm not too sure.

Unless its an absolute relic ala Quantum Bigfoot, you've got a 3.5x1 inch form factor hard drive in your desktop.
