I just got a Seagate external usb HD. It installs ok, i can see it in the eject hardware page, but i cant see it in my computer, I can’t see it in local drives, removable storage, in disk defragmenter, or anywhere besides, device manager, and device manager tells me its all ok.
So I have a $200 blue led that takes up two usb2 slots. Has anyone dealt with these before, and knows something I'm missing, or is it possible this thing gave up the ghost long before it got to me? If that is the vote should i go right to segate or to newegg first (IYO)
