How much for a Brand New CPU?

I bought a 2.4Ghz CPU for my brothers computer, assured by him that it could handle that CPU *2.4Ghz, 533FSB, 1MB cache* but before installing it, but after opening the package, he realized his motherboard can only handle CPU's running at 512MB cache.

So basically, I have a brand new 2.4Ghz CPU that I payed $200 CAN for which has never once been used, just an open package. How much could I get for it? Canadian.

You would be better off getting a new board than a diff. CPU

See if there's a bios update which would work with that chip, otherwise hit the FS/FT forum.
