MusicMatch slowing down menus

I have an 18GB music collection and have been using the free MusicMatch jukebox for playing it. The problem is is that while MusicMatch is open all of my menus (Start, bookmarks, etc) take about 10 seconds to open. If I close MM then the menus are fine. Any ideas?

How much memory is it eating? I have the paid version and I don't have that problem after MMJB fully loads. It does eat memory though, I am at 1gig of memory now, but I did notice something similar when I was at 512mb and had the "prettyness" of XP on too.

It is only eating around 15MB of memory and 2% of the cpu in normal operation. When I try to access a menu EXPLORER.EXE kicks up to 98% usage for about 10 seconds.
