Is that $600 projector any good? Just to look cool in front of the ladies?

If looking cool in front of the ladies is all you are worried about then I'm sure there are much better things to spend that $600 on to accomplish that task. :D

Its similiar to the older X1 from infocus without the better video processing the X1, I believe it was entirely marketed as a business projector.

I think I'm in for a 3.5" enclosure and a floppy drive. :)

Got that same enclosure last week...I've managed to use it to connect an otherwise unconnectable corrupted hard drive (any computer I connected it internally to would not stay on for more than 30 seconds) and salvage all the data off of it. Easily worth the $20. It doesn't have a fan though, but the case makes pretty good contact with the drive and sort of acts as a huge heatsink, so I'm not too worried.

You are right. I had the time to do some research today and there are far better deals on ebay for those. Like under $500.
projectorcentral.com gave it a solid review. it is a bit old, but might be a good buy for someone.

Tried to place an order for the Netgear router and some memory. My shipping addy is different than my billing addy so they won't ship out the order. Oh well.....guess I can't order any products from them.

I know Newegg and Chiefvalue (along with many other online companies) will not ship your items if they are billed to another location. Just call your bank or credit card company to fix this.

Newegg will ship to another address if you call to explain.
I was out of town for a couple weeks and asked them to ship to a friend's house. No problems - then again, I had already been a customer for a few years at that point.
bleh, a couple of the items i wanted were already sold out. The stock (and probably different items) is supposed to be updated...

Thanks for the head's up. Just took advantage of today's clearance sale. Unfortunately I ended up with about $90 worth of stuff (have to stop looking through these forums and start saving), but saved over $100, so I guess that's good. :D

Trust me I called the bank. And NewEgg will ship to an address different than the billing address. I have used this same card to buy a DVD burner from NewEgg and had it shipped to me at college (my home address is my billing not my college address). There clearance sale has the router on sale again so this time I'll just have it shipped out to my home and get it after this semester.

Not to hijack the thread, but the Egg sent a MB that my friend purchased to my work addy with no probs. My work address has been more reliable than anything (also helps that we've got our own post office).

I was going to jump all over their deals until I found how how much they rape you on shipping. I was going to get one of those mini usb aquariums for my girlfriend...$5 for the actual item, $7 for UPS Ground...BULLSHIT!
added items in addition to/replacing some of the other list:

sunny savings is going on now:
